Christoper and I have been making an effort to explore the trails closer to our new apartment. A few weeks ago we happened upon Indian Trail Park. Indian Trail Park is a 4-acre parked owned by the City of Brewer. The walking trail is almost two miles and borders the Penobscot River. There is even a sliding hill we will have to check out come winter time.
This park was fairly quiet around sunset. My one complaint is that several of the benches had been completely trashed. This was not a problem the further we went into park, but was not a pleasant sight at the onset.
Overall I would recommend this hiking area. It is nice to have such a place so close to
home.
