It is wedding planning central over here! We have been interviewing musicians and officiants, tasting food, planning flowers and creating decorations. Our planning has taken us all over the area from Ellsworth to Augusta. One of the places we visited was Hallowell, Maine, which is just a short jaunt from Augusta. After meeting with a potential officiant, we decided to take a walk through their adorable downtown area.

Hallowell has a number of antique shops. I was quite tempted to purchase this globe. It was created before World War One! If only I had $180 to spare. Christmas/Birthday/Anniversary present maybe?
This was a fun little escape from Bangor/Brewer and I would definitely recommend exploring this town.
