Cape Meades and the Octopus Tree

After visiting the Cape Meades Lighthouse, Christopher and I hiked over to the Octopus Tree. The Octopus tree is simply a really interesting tree that is near the beach. The tree was particularly symbolic to the Native American tribes that populated the region.

We even saw a whale and its calf!
