Pike's Place Market

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Seattle (or are not completely obsessed with the Travel Channel like me) Pike’s Place Market is a gigantic, permanent farmer’s market. It has everything- food, flowers, clothes and jewelry.

There were fish-mongers who tossed giant fish like footballs. There was a shop with chocolate-flavored pasta. There was a decent-sized bookstore where the owner narrated everything we did in opera.

It was so much fun to wander around the market. If you are ever in Seattle, definitely pay it a visit!
